  • Shikhar Dhawan is given the Man of the Match award for his fluent knock. That's all from this game but don't go too far away as the second match of the evening between Kolkata and Mumbai will begin shortly. See you there. Cheers!
  • Earlier in the evening, Delhi opted to bat and started strongly on the back of valuable partnership between Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer. Just like Bangalore, they also lost the plot in the middle phase but then Axar Patel and Sherfane Rutherford hammered a 46-run stand off just 19 balls to push the total past the 180-run mark. Their partnership in a way proved to be the differential factor. Amit Mishra, Axar Patel and Kagiso Rabada were right on the money with the ball and played a vital role in defending the total. Delhi's fielding was a bit sloppy initially but then they pulled up their socks and caught a few brilliant catches. All in all, a great win for them and they will be immensely pleased with the outcome.
  • Delhi are in the playoffs for the first time since 2012! An incredible win for them and they have pushed Bangalore on the brink of elimination. The touring team started their run chase in a brisk manner and were in a dominating position after the Powerplay. But Delhi bounced back after that to remove both the openers. AB de Villiers and Shivam Dubey got together for a partnership but once the former was dismissed, the home team pressed home the advantage. Gurkeerat and Stoinis tried their best but the required rate was too high and eventually, they failed to overhaul the target. For those who are eager to know, Bangalore are not yet out of the tournament and still have a mathematical chance of making it through, of course depending on other results.
  • 19.7KRabada to MStoinis

In the air... safe! The fielder seemed to have not gone for the catch there. A full toss on the stumps, Stoinis hits it towards long on. Tewatia, the sub, runs in but then takes a few steps back. Collects it on the bounce. Just a single. DELHI WIN BY 16 RUNS!

  • Umesh Yadav is the new batsman in.

OUT! That has stuck in the webbing. Delhi have taken some excellent catches today and this is probably the best of them. Ishant bowls this one full and outside off, Mann looks to go big but only manages an outside edge. The ball flies to the right of Pant who dives and sticks one hand out. The ball manages to stay in. The dangerous looking Mann is gone.
  • 18.3ISharma to MStoinis

36 in 18 now as the last ball is a dot! Still an excellent over for visitors. This could probably be the momentum changing one. Mann once again looks to go over the leg side but this one is way outside off. He misses.
  • 16.5ISharma to SinghMann

FOUR! Make that 16 with one ball to go. Bangalore are right back in this. A fortunate boundary but they won't care. This is outside off, Mann looks to hit it over the leg side but the ball hits the top edge and flies over short third man. 36 needed in 19.
  • 16.4ISharma to SinghMann

SIX! FLAT! That has hit the ropes on the full. Poor ball though, it is on a length. Mann clears his front leg and then whips it through mid-wicket. It goes all the way. Mann now getting into his own. 12 from the over so far with two balls to go.
  • 16.3ISharma to MStoinis

Very full on off, difficult for the batsman to get under it. This is stroked down to long off for a single.
  • 16.2ISharma to SinghMann

On the leg side, Mann looks to flick but misses to get hit on the pads. The ball rolls towards the leg side. A leg bye is taken.
  • 16.1ISharma to SinghMann

FOUR! This is what Mann needs to do! Boundaries are the call of the hour and he finds one. Shuffles in and then flicks it through square leg. No one in the deep and a boundary results.
  • Strategic break! Bangalore were 82/2 during the last break and now they are reeling on 136/5. The chase has completely fallen flat on its face for the visiting team. All the top guns are back in the hut and Delhi certainly have the upper hand. The required rate has touched 13 now and Bangalore need something extraordinary from hereon to achieve the target and stay alive in the tournament.

  • 14.4AMishra to SinghMann

Another single as this is stroked through covers. Not sure why the two are not stepping on the accelerator. They need to get going.
  • 14.3AMishra to SinghMann

What was that? The googly outside off, this one turns back in sharply and also there is extra bounce. Mann looks to hit it through the off side but due to the inward spin, he is hit on the gloves.
  • 14.2AMishra to SinghMann

A better throw and it would have been close! Mann drives it square on the off side. They take one and go for the second. The fielder throws it a little wide to the keeper who looks to deflect it onto the stumps but misses.
