‘Two tired trekkers’: Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma take a break in Bhutan
India skipper Virat Kohli turned 31 on Tuesday. Ahead of his birthday, the Indian skipper spent the day with his better half and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma in the mountains.
Social media was flooded with pictures of the couple paying to visit various places in the neighboring nation. Anushka also shared a picture on her Instagram stories, where she recalled her childhood memories.
In one of her stories, Anushka shared a photo of a local vegetable market and wrote, “Felt the genuine joy of being in a sabzi mandi… Brought childhood memories back.”
Kohli, meanwhile, is not taking part in the ongoing limited-overs series against Bangladesh. The Indian team is led by his deputy Rohit Sharma.

The first of the three-match series was played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday. In a smog-hit contest, the visitors led by Mushfiqur Rahim’s unbeaten 60 helped them secure their maiden T20I victory against the Men In Blue.
The Indian skipper will return to the cricket pitch when India will take on Bangladesh in the longer format of the game in a two-match series. The 31-year-old recently led India to their 11th consecutive Test series victory at home by completing a clean sweep over South Africa.
After winning the Test series against West Indies and South Africa, India now stands at the pole position in the ICC Test Championship points table.
