8:25 am Welcome back! It's Day 2 of the first Test between India and South Africa in Visakhapatnam, and the fans in the stadium, besides the two teams, will hope for the rain to stay away to allow a full day's play.

India dominated the rain-shortened Day 1, with Rohit Sharma marking his first Test as an opening batsman with a century, aided by fellow opener Mayank Agarwal's 84. And the good news is that the both remained unseparated when rain came shortly before the tea interval and then washed away the rest of the day.

The forecast says there's a 60 percent chance of rain on Thursday as well, which will ensure the fingers remain crossed hoping for the dark clouds to stay away.
