India suffered a major setback on Tuesday as star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah got ruled out of the upcoming Test series against South Africa due to injury. Bumrah will be replaced by Umesh Yadav in the Test squad which will face take on the Proteas in a three-match series from October 2.
Bumrah on Wednesday posted an emotional message on social media and vowed to comeback stronger and fitter after the minor injury setback.
"Injuries are part & parcel of the sport. Thank you for all your recovery wishes. My head is held high & I am aiming for a comeback that's stronger than the setback," Bumrah posted on Instagram.
