Indian skipper Virat Kohli was at his prime in the first innings of the second Test between India and South Africa. The batting giant registered his seventh double-ton and crashed many records in the course of his knock. Kohli also brought up his highest Test score (254) in the ongoing Pune Test. Cricket fans around the world went gaga over the Indian stalwart’s marathon knock. Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma was also among the fans who lavished praise on the right-handed batsman. The Bollywood actress took down Instagram and posted Kohli’s picture from the match. The post clearly depicted Anushka’s emotions and happiness for her significant other.

Anushka put on Kohli’s celebration picture from the match with three heart emojis on her Instagram story. This is not the first time that the couple have showered their love for each other on the social media platform. Both Virat and Anuskha are active Instagram users and are often seeing posting pictures with each other. The Virat-Anushka duo is one of the most loved couples in tinsel town and have a huge fan following.

The 30-year old batsman surpassed Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag to became the Indian with most scores in excess of 200. The Delhi-born lad also became the first captain to muster nine 150 plus scores and seven 200 plus scores in the longest format of the game. Virat achieved the landmark of 7000 Test runs and also became the fastest batsman to score 21,000 in International cricket.

Courtesy Virat’s stellar knock, India posted a massive score of 601 runs in the first innings. Apart from the Indian captain, Mayak Agarwal scored 108 runs while Ravindra Jadeja made 92. In the second innings, South Africa got off to a dismal start as they lost both their openers quickly and were reeling at 36/3 at stumps on Day 2.
