India's first day-night Test match will be held from November 22 to 26 at the Eden Gardens Stadium here and the BCCI is preparing extensively for this match. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said on Thursday that this match would be special for India and that is why efforts are being made to invite special people to Kolkata. These include celebrities like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sachin Tendulkar.
Ganguly told reporters here, "We will convert it into a spectacular event. In 3-4 days you will get a complete blueprint of what is going to happen."
India has to play its first day-night Test match with Bangladesh. Bangladesh team has reached New Delhi for this series. On November 3, he has to play the first T20 match in Delhi.
Ganguly said that an invitation has also been sent to the Prime Minister's Office for this match. The Bengal Cricket Association will also honor the members of the team that played the first Test match with Bangladesh in the year 2000. These include Sachin.
Also, CAB will also honor the Olympic medal winners for India - Abhinav Bindra, MC Mary Kom and PV Sindhu at this ceremony.
