AUS vs SL: Australia beat Sri Lanka by 9 wickets in 2nd T20, Warner breaks Hafeez's record
Australia's dangerous opening batsmen David Warner is on the roll with the bat. After scoring 60 runs in the 2nd T20 against Sri Lanka, he has left Pakistan's legendary batsmen Hafeez in that case of most T20 international runs.
Sri Lanka's team batted first and scored just 117 runs, in response to which Australia won by losing just one wicket in 13 overs. David Warner (60*) was adjudged Man of the Match for the second consecutive match for another superb innings. Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat first, but once their batsmen flopped and the entire team was all out by scoring 117 runs in 19 overs. Kusal Perera scored the highest 27 runs, while Danushka Gunatilaka contributed 21 runs. Due to losing wickets at regular intervals, once again Sri Lanka could not make a respectable score. Billy Stanlake, Pat Cummins, Aston Agar and Adam Zampa took two wickets each for Australia.
