Babar Azam created history by defeating Virat Kohli, this great feat
Hello friends Pakistan batsman Babar Azam scored a brilliant century in the second match of the three-match series against Sri Lanka. With this one century, Babar achieved a special achievement by overtaking Indian captain Virat Kohli. Babar scored his 11th century in ODIs and became the only batsman in Asia to achieve this feat in the shortest innings.
Babar Azam of Pakistan scored a century in the second ODI against Sri Lanka at the Karachi National Stadium. On the basis of this wonderful innings of Babar, Pakistan succeeded in setting a target of 306 against Sri Lanka.
Babar left Virat behind
Babar Azam left Virat Kohli 11 innings behind in terms of scoring the 11th century in the shortest ODI innings. He has become the only batsman in Asia to score 11 ODI centuries in the shortest innings. Till now, Virat Kohli was in possession of this record.
Former South African batsman Hashim Amla holds the record for scoring 11 centuries by playing the lowest innings in ODI cricket. Amla did this feat in just 64 innings of ODIs. Second place is named South Africa's Quinton de Kock. De Kock scored his 11th ODI century in 65 ODI innings. Babar has come third in this list. He achieved this feat in the 71st ODI innings. India's Virat Kohli had played 82 innings to score 11 ODI centuries.
