Pakistan Cricket team star batsman Babar Azam has been named the vice-captain for the upcoming three matches bilateral ODI series in Pakistan. The live-action of 1st game will be held on 27th September, 2019. All three ODI games will be played at National Stadium, Karachi. Pakistan will still have Sarfaraz Ahmed as their ODI team captain. Pakistan will be playing against depleted Sri Lankan squad as players like Lasith Malinga, Angelo Mathews and Dimuth Karunaratne have refused to play due to security concern. Sri Lanka ODI team will be led by Lahiru Thirimanne and they will play the three matches T20I series under the captaincy of Dasun Shanaka.
