Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first. No Indian batsmen were able to go big with the bat. Shikhar Dhawan smashed 41 runs off 42 balls, however, he faced an unfortunate run-out just when he was looking hit big shots. Rohit Sharma could only score 9 runs while Lokesh Rahul played a loose shot to lose his wicket through a catch at covers.
