Bowlers Did A Great Job, Everyone Chipped In – Mahmudullah Riyad
What a day for Bangladesh it was at Delhi against Indian National Cricket Team. They have savoured the success after a fine time and mind you, it was Shakib Al Hasan-less Bangladesh under the captaincy of Mahmudullah Riyad. Speaking of the victory, the skipper thanked all the team members, who chipped in for the country.
This is also the first time Bangladesh have won a T20I against India. There have been only three T20Is they had played before these two before Sunday and had lost all three. However, they entered India with a point to prove and made it happen right in their first game.
Mushfiqur Rahim was really good – Mahmudullah Riyad

Finally, he congratulated Mushfiqur Rahim for delivering a special knock and also hailed Soumya Sarkar for staying in the middle when it was required. Further, Riyad showered words of praise on the debutant Mohammad Naim.
”I think it was all based on how we started. The bowlers did a great job, everyone chipped in. I think we fielded really well and that gave us momentum going into our batting. I think captaincy is made easy because of the boys who have performed really well,” Mahmudullah Riyad quoted.Bangladesh celebrate a wicket. Credit: BCCI
”I know the Fizz is one of our key bowlers but I think the other bowlers were needed according to the conditions. Mushy was really good and Soumya had a good partnership with him. I think Naim deserves a mention as well. He played really well on debut,” he added in the post-match presentation.
Well, it was a brilliant day for Bangladesh, who finished one of their major tasks. Now, they will head to Rajkot with an added boost to their gameplay.
