New Delhi: After former women captain Shantha Rangaswamy resigned from the CAC, the chairman of the CAC and the legend of the Indian cricket team, Kapil Dev, has resigned from his post. He has not given any reason behind this. Kapil Dev gave this information to the Committee of Administrators i.e. COA via email.

The other two CAC members, including Kapil Dev, were given notice by the BCCI's Ethics Officer from former women's team captain Shanta Rangaswamy and former batsman and coach Anshuman Gaikwad in the matter of conflict of interest. Sanjeev Gupta, a permanent member of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association, had complained against the three to the BCCI Lokpal.

In fact, former women's captain Shanta Rangaswamy resigned as a member of the Cricket Advisory Committee and the Indian Cricketers Association on Sunday after BCCI Ethics Officer DK Jain gave notice of a conflict of interest. However, Kapil Dev will continue to be a member of the ICA. Kapil has not resigned from this post. At the same time, it is being told that Kapil Dev may have resigned from the CAC as well because he has been appointed as Chancellor of Haryana Sports University by the Haryana State Government.
