England increased their chances of levelling the series as they extended their lead on day three of the fifth test to 382.

Joe Denly scored 94 before Ben Stokes added 67 and Jos Buttler put on 47 to put the hosts in firm control.

Nathan Lyon has been the pick of the bolwers with three wickets with Mitchell Marsh and Peter Siddle also chipping in.
