First IND-SA Test from 9:30 am, India's veteran player injured, see probable team
The first match of the Test series, which starts between India and South Africa, will start in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday October 9:30 am. All the matches in this series are part of the World Test Championship, which makes it more than a series for both teams.
Both teams have been announced for the Test series, in which the command of South Africa has once again been handed over to Faf du Plessis, while the captaincy of India will once again be in the hands of Virat Kohli. As expected, India will change its opening pair and this time the pair of Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal will open.
India's veteran got injured
Even before this series, India's main fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been injured. Jasprit Bumrah has got a back injury due to which he will not be able to play any match of this series.
In such a situation, it is a matter of great concern for Indian captain Kohli, who will give a chance in place of a bowler like Bumrah. However, here Umesh Yadav has been included in the team as an alternative to Bumrah.
India's probable team in first test
Team: Mayank Agarwal, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha, Hanuma Vihari, Ravindra Jadeja, Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav.
