Jaddu: The best
Speaking on who does he rate as the best 'Indian fielder of this decade', Sridhar firmly pointed out at Ravindra Jadeja.
He feels that his intimidating presence allows the opponent teams to be on their toes.
"I wouldn't like to go very far, but in the last decade or so, Jadeja has been the best fielder India has had," he told Times of India.
Sridhar focusing on slip fielding for ICC World T20 2020
"Developing a pool of players who can field at slip cordon is an area we are working on. In shorter formats, lateral movement and throwing from the deep are the areas we are focusing, as we head into the World T20 next year," added Sridhar.

Mindset and fitness
On being asked about what is the notable change among the players of the current Indian team, Sridhar pointed out that he was extremely happy with the mindset and the fitness the players possess of late.
"Changing the mindset is pertaining to what the teams want to achieve, and fitness was a crucial part of that," Sridhar further said.
Jadeja played an all-round pivotal role in India's Proteas success
Taking into consideration Jadeja's recent performance, he has played a phenomenal role in India's success in the just-concluded Test series against South Africa.
Besides his fielding, he scored 212 runs in four innings at an average of 70.66, including twin half-centuries.
As for his bowling, he was prolific, claiming 13 wickets at an average of 30.69, with the best match haul of 6/211.
Sridhar rates three other fielders among world's best
"Jadeja, Martin Guptill, Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell - these four come to my mind. These players can be placed at the infield or in the outfield as they possess high levels of athleticism," Sridhar opined and concluded.
