The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday has released the schedule for next year's Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2020. The World Cup will be held in South Africa and will begin on January 17 with the conclusion on 19th Feburary.
16 teams will take part in this World Cup and are divided into groups of four. Defending champions India are placed in Group A alongside New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Surprisingly, Japan has also qualified this time and they are the fourth entrant in group A.

"We have some excellent venues for this tournament, and we are offering free entry to all matches giving cricket fans in South Africa the opportunity to watch the next generation of superstars. I wish all the teams the very best in their preparations for the tournament and to Cricket South Africa in organising the event," said ICC Head of Events Chris Tetley.
