Ravindra Jadeja produced a stunning over on day five of the first Test match against South Africa at Visakhapatnam on Sunday as India inched closer to a big win.

Resuming on 11/1, the Proteas were in for a tough task against a confident Indian side. But they crumbled with Jadeja leading India's charge. In the 27th over, Jadeja produced the decisive over of the match, taking three wickets. He did miss the hat-trick, but it still was an over worthy of some celebration.

He first took a brilliant return catch to send opener Aiden Markram back off the first ball, then trapped Vernon Philander and Keshav Maharaj off the fourth and fifth deliveries.

Watch the wickets here:

Riding on Rohit Sharma's twin centuries, India declared both their innings -- 502/7 and 323/4. Rohit's opening partner Mayank Agarwal also hit a double-century in the first innings as India dominated the first two days of the match. The Proteas fought back with a resolute batting display from Dean Elgar and Quinton de Kock, both scoring centuries.

But it the encounter turned a one-sided affair with Indian bowlers toying with their opponents on the final. South Africa were eight down in 36 overs for 95 runs, still, 300 runs away. A remained a formality.
