Ranchi: Last match of three Tests series between India and South Africa is being played in the Ranchi. Today the third-day game is being played. India has strengthened its grip on this match. The third day of the match started well for India. By the third day's lunch, South Africa has scored 129 runs losing 6 wickets in 36 overs. Playing ahead 9/2, South Africa suffered their first setback as on the third day of the match.
South Africa's third wicket came as the captain, who scored a single, was clean bowled by Umesh Yadav. After this, a partnership between Zubair Hamza and Temba Bavuma flourished but Hamza was bowled off Jadeja for a personal score of 62 runs. Shahbaz Nadeem took his first Test wicket by dismissing Temba Bavuma. Bavuma gets stumped out by Wriddhiman Saha.
Bavuma became the fifth victim of the Indian team by scoring 32 runs. The sixth wicket of the team fell in the form of wicketkeeper-batsman Henrik Klassen who could score just 6 runs and was clean bowled by Jadeja's ball. The first two days of the match saw fewer overs being bowled due to poor lighting. Despite this, the Indian team has the upper hand in this match so far.
