South Africa have very few positives to look at in the current series they're playing against India. The Proteas are on the verge of being clean swept in the Test series but one positive that they can take home is left-arm bowler George Linde. The 27-year-old who made his Test debut in this match took four important wickets in the first Indian innings. Let us take a look at three spinners who made their Test debuts in India.

Monty Panesar

The slow left-arm orthodox bowler made his debut at Nagpur in 2006. The match ended in a tie. Panesar's first Test wicket was the legendary Sachin Tendulkar whom Panesar got out on 16 via lbw. Panesar also got the wicket of Mohammad Kaif on 91. In the second innings, Monty Panesar got the Indian captain Rahul Dravid on 71. The spinner has played 50 tests for England and has gotten 167 wickets in that period. His last Test was against Australia in 2013.

Jason Krejza

Krejza made his Test debut for the Australians at Nagpur in 2008. India ended up winning the match by 172 runs. The right-arm off-break bowler did not take time in announcing his entry into Test cricket. He took eight wickets in the first innings which included opener Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, captain MS Dhoni, Zaheer Khan, Amit Mishra, and Ishant Sharma. He got four wickets in the second innings which included VVS Laxman, Sourav Ganguly, MS Dhoni, and Zaheer Khan. Krejza only played another Test after this match and has a career total of 13 Test wickets, 12 out of which came in his debut at Nagpur.

Graeme Swann

The right-arm off-break English bowler made his Test debut, a whole eight years after his ODI debut. He made his debut at Chennai in 2008 in a match where India ended up winning by six wickets. His first Test wicket was Indian opener Gautam Gambhir. He also got Rahul Dravid's wicket in that innings. In the second innings, Swann got Sehwag out on 83 and VVS Laxman on 26. Every dismissal except Laxman's came for Swann in the form of an LBW. Swann played 60 matches for England and got 255 wickets in that period.
