IND vs SA: Shahbaz Nadeem included in the Indian team for Ranchi Test
After a great performance in domestic cricket, Shahbaz Nadeem got a call from the Indian team. Nadeem has been included in the Indian team for the third and final Test match to be held in Ranchi against South Africa. The left-arm spinner has got a place in the Indian team after Kuldeep Yadav's shoulder injury. Whether he will get a place in the final eleven will be a matter to be seen
In first-class cricket, Nadeem made his debut against Kerala in 2004 for Jharkhand and he has taken 424 wickets so far. During this time, his average is 28. He was the highest wicket-taker during the Ranji Trophy 2015-16 and 2016-17. He took 51 and 56 wickets respectively. Last season, he took 37 wickets
Nadeem took 15 wickets during the India A team's tour of the West Indies. Apart from bowling, he is also a useful lower-order batsman. He has 7 half-centuries and one century in first-class cricket.
India has already won the series by winning the opening two Test match against South Africa. Now, the team will be looking to win the third Test and clean sweep the test series. At present, Ashwin and Jadeja are in great form, so Shahbaz Nadeem may not get a place in the last eleven.
