Ranchi: The third and final match of the three-Test series between India and South Africa will be played on 19 October in Ranchi. The entire team members for this match have reached Dhoni's city Ranchi. At the same time, only half the players of the Indian team have reached Ranchi so far. All the players and support staff of the South African team have camped in Ranchi, while only five players of the Indian team have reached Ranchi so far.
Mayank Agarwal, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ishant Sharma and Hanuma Vihari have arrived in Ranchi on Tuesday, while the rest of the players are yet to reach the city of Dhoni. It is reported that other players including captain Virat Kohli will reach Ranchi in a couple of days.
The last match of this three-match Test series ended on Sunday 13 October. In such a situation, the Indian team player had about 6 days to join the next Test match. Hence, other players including team captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, opener Rohit Sharma and fast bowler Muhammad Shami left their homes. It is being told that these players will reach Ranchi before the third Test on Thursday and Friday.
