India vs South Africa 2019/20: Rain Can Interrupt The First Test Match
Rain Rain Go Away!! this will be the hope of all Indian fans. As per reports, the first Test match between India and South Africa will be interrupted by rain. The rain has become a big problem in cricket matches as it destroys all the passion among the fans.
From 2nd October, the first Test match will be played between India and South Africa in Visakhapatnam where it is raining for the last four to five days. There are 80% chances that it will rain on the first day of the Test match. There is 50 and 40 per cent chance of rain on day two and three and play could also be affected on the final two days.
This Test series is crucial for both the teams. As South Africa will play its first Test series after the World Cup 2019. The team is under the transition period. Many new faces but talented players are given chances in the team.
On the other hand, India will try to maintain its top position in the inaugural edition of the (2019-21). India is at the top of the Championship points table with 120 points. To retain its position, India will give the tough fight in the home ground. The second match and third match will be played in Pune and Ranchi respectively.
The rain also interrupted during the practice match between South Africa Board President’s XI played in Vizianagaram. The match was declared drawn.
South Africa was able to equal the three-match T20I series with 1-1. The first match was abandoned due to rain in Dharamshala. In Mohali, India defeated South Africa by seven wickets. The visitors made a comeback in Bengaluru ground and defeated India badly and won the match by 9 wickets.
