India vs South Africa 2019: India’s Squad Rating
Team India produced another dominating effort to inflict a whitewash over South Africa beating them 3-0 in the Test series. It was the same script in Ranchi as that of the last two matches where the host ruled the Proteas out of the game by putting runs in the first innings.
Virat Kohli & Co were outstanding throughout the Test series and they will go home with a lot of positives from here. From Rohit Sharma’s devastating form to the fast bowlers bowling their heart out on Indian wickets, this has been one hell of a series for India. Batting first, India banked on a double hundred from Rohit Sharma and a century from Ajinkya Rahane to post 497 runs on the board before declaring. They dealt with early blows losing three quick wickets but Rahane and Rohit shouldered responsibilities to put the host in a strong position before the bowlers stepped up.
They bowled out South Africa for 162 and 133 runs to take the match home by an innings and 202 runs in Ranchi.

Mayank Agarwal has sealed his opener’s role with consecutive centuries in first two Test in Visakhapatnam and Pune. He has looked confident against the new ball bowlers and India have found a reliable opening pair in Agarwal and Rohit Sharma.
The Karnataka opener although had a poor outing in the last match but the host will pursue him with the upcoming series against Bangladesh.
