India vs South Africa, 2nd T20I: As it happened...
Welcome to the live coverage of the 2nd T20I between India and South Africa from the PCA Stadium in Mohali. After the opener in Dharamshala was washed out due to rain, the action shifts to Mohali where India will take on South Africa in the 2nd T20I of the three-match series which has now effectively been reduced to a two-match rubber. The Men in Blue will be looking to continue their stellar run in the shortest format after a 3-0 demolition of West Indies in the Carribean. With a relatively inexperienced bowling attack, India will face their biggest threat in the form of David Miller, who plays for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL and is familiar with the conditions in Mohali. All eyes will be on Shikhar Dhawan, who will be aiming to answer his critics in style after debates over his opening spot in the batting line-up. Hardik Pandya will be making a return from injury and featuring for the first time for the Men in Blue after the World Cup where he sustained a back niggle.

20:34 IST: SA end at 149 for 5. A good show from the Indian bowlers overall, led by Chahar. Proteas lost the plot after De Kock's fall. While Bavuma-Miller stand looked encouraging, everything fell apart after their dismissal. Phehlukwayo and Pretorius managed to push the score beyond 145, but that won't be challenging in front of a batting heavy line-up of Team India. Nonetheless, something to play for visitors. Back in some time for the run-chase.
20:24 IST: Another good over for India as Deepak Chahar continues to show his class as a death bowler; something he did really well for CSK in the IPL. He conceded only three runs in the 18th over and finishes his spell; 4-0-22-2. SA 129-4 (18)
20:19 IST: A good debut for Bavuma in the format but he falls for 49 (43). While he would have wanted to score more freely than he did, regular fall of wickets after De Kock curtailed his progress. All over to Miller, playing on his IPL home ground, to take Proteas over 150. They were looking good for plenty more but have fallen behind.
20:12 IST: A good over for South Africa as the 16th over gives them 12 runs overall. Miller and Bavuma will now go berserk and try to take the score over 175. Anything less than that will not be so challenging for a batting-heavy Team India line-up. SA 122-3 (16)
20:03 IST: Krunal comes into the attack and starts fairly well by conceding only 7. Proteas batsmen are dealing in singles at the moment. The duo will like to play out the next two overs with some caution and then go berserk in the last four. SA 105-4 (14)
19:56 IST: OUT! Another stunner, this time from Jaddu to get rid of Rassie van der Russen. While it was a 'regular catch' for Jaddu, it was a difficult one while he made it look ridiculously easy. SA tottering all of a sudden. David Miller joins Temba Bavuma. SA 90/3 (12.2)
19:53 IST: OUT! A short of a length delivery from Saini cramped De Kock to play the pull and he managed to hit it over the bowler. Kohli, at mid-off, covered the distance and held onto a one-handed catch. Excellent from skipper and he lets out a fist pump in celebration.
19:43 IST: India need a wicket here. They haven't allowed the visitors to march ahead in terms of the run-rate but De Kock and Bavuma have settled in and have some batting to follow suit. Few wickets will certainly be a big blow for the Proteas. Else if one of them get going, they can eye a 170-plus total.
19:36 IST: FIFTY UP FOR SA! Bavuma's amazing pull short, off Hardik Pandya, gets Proteas to the 50-run mark. Good start this from the visitors. The partnership is already looking challenging with Bavuma joining the party with De Kock.
19:30 IST: Despite losing Reeza Hendricks early, this is a good start from South Africa courtesy skipper Quinton de Kock. Bavuma, who has been regarded as a Test specialist, will be eager to make a statement here in Mohali. SA 38-1 (6).
19:23 IST: A second spell already for Washington Sundar. De Kock looking rock solid whereas he has been joined by Temba Bavuma at No. 3.
19:18 IST: OUT! Soft dismissal for Reeza Hendricks as the right-hander handed a simple catch to Washington Sundar at mid-on. India get a wicket but will be thoroughly satisfied when they see off De Kock. SA 31/1 (3.5)
19:13 IST: De Kock has started well and smashed back-to-back boundaries off Navdeep Saini's over. The left-hander always goes well versus Team India, and Kohli and Co. will be wary of this. SA 24/0 (3)
19:09 IST: A good and encouraging start from Deepak Chahar. He got some purchase and late movement but kept it down the leg-side to concede a boundary. Nonetheless, only five coming of his first over. SA 11/0 (2)
19:00 IST: India start with spin in the form of Washington Sundar. From South Africa, Quinton de Kock and R. Hendricks are out there in the middle. A tidy over to start with, apart from a glorious drive from de Kock on his first delivery. SA 6/0 (1)
18:57 IST: The national anthems have been sung and the play is all set to begin soon.
18:42 IST:South Africa (Playing XI): Quinton de Kock(w/c), Reeza Hendricks, Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Andile Phehlukwayo, Dwaine Pretorius, Bjorn Fortuin, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Tabraiz Shamsi

18:34 IST: QdK: Everything's new for me. It's a new experience and I'm enjoying it. Me, KG, Miller - we've played a lot here. We had a long camp before the series. The boys are hungry to play. We have three debutants.
18:32: Kohli: We are gonna bowl first. It's very difficult to defend and it's a great chasing ground. It's a typical Mohali wicket. The pitch is gonna play well too. That is one of the best matches I have been part of. This ground has given me and the team great memories.
18:30 IST: TOSS- Indian skipper Virat Kohli wins the toss as India opt to bowl first in Mohali.
Here are the squads of the two sides:
