Hello friends Former Indian captain Anil Kumble will be seen as the coach in IPL 2020. Kumble has been named as head coach by Kings XI Punjab. Anil Kumble, the highest wicket-taker for India in Tests, was appointed as the coach after the franchise's board meeting on Thursday. Kumble will thus be the only Indian head coach in IPL 2020. Kumble has been appointed the coach ahead of the IPL auction, which is scheduled to be held in Kolkata on 19 December.
Anil Kumble has previously been the chief mentor of Mumbai Indians. He was appointed to the role in 2013 and Mumbai managed to win their first IPL title in that year. Kumble was the mentor of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Will replace Mike Hewson
Prior to Kumble, Mike Hewson was the head coach of Punjab. He had a two-year term, but left it midway. Prior to this, he was the coach of the New Zealand team till the World Cup 2015. He also applied for the coach position of the Indian team.

Prior to Hessen, Sanjay Bangar (2014-2016), Virender Sehwag (2017), Brad Hodge (2018) have played this role. Kings XI reached the semi-finals in 2008 and finished second after losing in the final to Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2014 edition.
