KBC11: Big B returns to sets, shoots with Karamveers Dutee Chand, Hima Das and Virendra Sehwag
Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has resumed shooting after recovering from liver issues. The host recently shot the Karamveer episode, which will be aired on Friday (October 25).
Big B felt proud to shoot the episode with Nation’s pride - Dutee Chand, Hima Das and Virendra Sehwag. He shared in his blog, “... and soon we are on to the opener and the presence of the greats in the field of sports that bring so much love admiration and pride for the Nation .. 2 of the most valued sprinters in the Athletics world, and the master himself Virendra Sehwag… the ladies are Dutee Chand and Hima Das .. excelling themselves in the 100m and the 400m event winning medals of honour in Gold and giving the Country so much to be proud of.”

Sharing more about his experience, he wrote, “They come from such unimanageable circumstances .. poverty , no food to eat .. living in penury .. but sports and determination took them out of that and brought to the World platform .. giving them the opportunity to move further up in their fields and bring greater glory ... and to assist them the master himself Virendra Sehwag, the Nawab of Najafgargh , the tripple centuries in 2 test games , humble, full of wit and a joy to be on set ..”
Big B talks about how they have fought against all odds. He wrote further, “Sport ..that disliked entity in the times of our growing up .. never given space time or opportunity to indulge in them .. always the pressure of study and learning .. but today the tables have turned .. the young choose a career in a facility and if they have it in them they train to be their best under the tutelage of experts and coaches that bring out the very best in them to be able to take on the very best in the World ... their lives in the early years filed with not even the barest of needs for survival, yet the will to fight and win against odds that seen unsurmountable .. salutations to them and prayers that they ever be healthy and fit to bring not just for themselves but for the nation a name to be written and remembered ever ..”
