Kings XI Punjab spinner Ravichandran Ashwin's move to Delhi Capitals has reportedly been completed on Thursday. According to reports the lucrative deal between the two franchises has been sealed worth INR 7.6 crore (Ashwin's auction price in IPL 2018) and an additional undisclosed sum to procure Ashwin.
According to ESPNcricinfo, Delhi Capitals have traded Karnataka spinner J Suchith for R Ashwin. The left-arm spinner, who is also a handy lower-order batsman, was signed as a replacement in IPL 2019 at his base price of INR 20 lakh.
Moreover, Trent Boult is also believed to be traded to Kings XI. The New Zealand fast bowler was signed by Capitals in 2018 for INR 2.2 crore. The two clubs will now have to wait for the consent of the IPL Governing Council on the deal.

"It was a pleasure working with Ashwin. We enjoyed our time with him and I wish him all the best," Kings XI Punjab co-owner, Ness Wadia, was quoted as saying by Sportstar.
"All the parties are happy. We wanted to get a spinner on board and we are happy to have Suchith with us," Wadia said.
Under Ashwin's leadership, KXIP played well in the first half of the past two seasons before losing steam in the second half. They finished seventh in 2018 and sixth in 2019.
