ueensland vs South Australia

Marnus Labuschagne scored 39 of the 48 runs needed on the final day - dashing to the finish line with Queensland in tow as the hosts sealed a four-wicket win at the Gabba.

Losing Jimmy Pierson - with whom he shared a 62-run stand for the sixth wicket - in the fourth over of the morning had Labuschagne take matters into his own hands with the target still 32 runs away and just the lower-order for company. The Australia right-hander then struck five boundaries while Michael Neser held up his end of the bargain, playing out 22 balls for one run as Labuschagne hunted down the target before any further damage could be done.

Brief scores: South Australia 221 (Thomas Andrews 78; Michael Neser 5-56) & 192 (Xavier Bartlett 3-33) lost to Queensland 264 (Wes Agar 4-30) & 150/6 (Marnus Labuschagne 72*; Nick Winter 4-37) by four wickets.

New South Wales vs Tasmania

New South Wales quickly wrapped things up on the fourth morning - first getting rid of the final Tasmania wicket for just eight more runs, and then chasing the target of 45 without much fuss.

Mitchell Starc, who did the bulk of his work yesterday, came out to complete twin five-fors for the match which gave way to a run-chase that was finished within nine overs, even as medium-pacer Alex Pycroft managed to get the consolation wickets of Daniel Hughes and Steve Smith - both LBW.

Brief scores: Tasmania 268 (Mitchell Starc 5-40) & 140 (Matthew Wade 40; Starc 5-20, Sean Abbott 2-26) lost to New South Wales 364 (Moises Henriques 124, Steve Smith 106) & 46/2 (Daniel Hughes 25; Alex Pycroft 2-9) by eight wickets
