LCD free eye screening camp concludes

Two-day free eye screening camp, organized by Lions Club of Dimapur (LCD) concluded on Sunday where a total of 725 patients were screened by a team of doctors of Lions Eye Hospital, Jorhat.

A press release from LCD media cell stated that, during the two-day camp, 78 people were detected with cataract and have been referred to Jorhat Lions Eye Hospital for IOL surgery. The first batch was sent on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Lions Club of Dimapur has thanked deputy commissioner Dimapur, Kevekha Kevin Zehol for gracing the camp, members of Lions Club, Blue Vanda and Leo Club, besides media and public of Dimapur for their support. It has also thanked Lions Eye Hospital Jorhat and its team of doctors. The camp was organised under the chairmanship of Pawan Maheswari.
