Mandhana-Shefali created mutiny
Commencing the innings for India, Smriti Mandhana and 15-year-old Shefali Verma batted in a stormy manner and added 143 runs in just 15.3 overs for the first wicket.
Smriti Mandhana hit 67 off 46 balls, which included 11 fours.
While Shafali Verma hit 73 runs off 49 balls, in which he blew 6 fours and 4 sixes.
Captain Harmanpreet scored 21 off 13 balls and Veda Krishnamurthy scored 15 off 7 balls, with India scoring 185 for 4 in 20 overs.
In response, the West Indies team managed only 101 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs, with wicket-keeper batsman Campbell scoring the highest 33 runs.
For India, Shikha Pandey, Poonam Yadav and Radha Yadav took 2–2 wickets, while Deepti and Pooja took 1–1 wickets.
