We played very poor cricket – Misbah-ul-Haq
Misbah accepts his mistake but he is also surprised because its the same unit which has played in T20I and reached on no.1. He is also impressed with the bowling and batting department of Sri Lanka.
“It’s an example for us the way they have beaten us in every department,” Misbah said.
“They won the games in an almost one-sided fashion leaving us in tatters and with lots of questions to answer. We played very poor cricket and definitely it’s my responsibility but I am still thinking what really happened because these are the same set of players that have been playing for long and made the team No. 1.”
Pakistan who is playing after a long time in their home ground had to face a defeat against Sri Lanka in all three T20Is. The visitors proved that they are inexperienced but talented. Both the departments of the visitors were very good, especially the spinner Wanindu Hasaranga bowled very well. He was very successful in taking the wickets of the host.
