MS Dhoni's unofficial Retirement from T20 and ODIs
MS Dhoni's unofficial retirement from T20 and ODIs.
MSK Prasad the current chief selector of team India has given a clear indication about Dhoni's unofficial retirement. He is not picked for the T20 squad against Bangladesh which may describe the end of Dhoin's cricketing career. In the Press Conference MSK Prasad clarified the team India's view on Dhoni for T20 world Cup 2020. His unavailability in the previous series after World Cup 2019 against West Indies and South Africa is also a clear indicator of his retirement. It's Dhoni himself who has given such indication. And he is the only one who can take the call regarding his career in cricket. He has not played even a single match after World Cup this year neither international nor domestic matches and some new faces may be tried along with Rishab Pant as wicketkeeper for T20 World Cup 2020. Dhoni might not in a mood to make a comeback in any format of cricket even his IPL participation is under a great question mark. He may not announce his retirement officially but its almost clear that he has taken retirement from all forms of cricket.
