Meanwhile, as per the reports in Indian Express, it is reported that Dhoni is preparing for the next year’s World Cup. Furthermore, it is reported that Dhoni will be back in action for the T20I series against Sri Lanka, which will be played in January 2020. After the series against Sri Lanka, India will play three One Day Internationals against Australia.
Subsequently, India will go on to tour New Zealand for a long tour in which they will play all three forms of the game.
“He is preparing himself for the World T20 scheduled in Australia from October 18 to November 15. He might prefer the shortest format in days to come and will definitely play for Chennai Super Kings in IPL next year, the source said.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni has not himself revealed anything about his future plans. Dhoni has been out of action and it would be interesting to note when he will take the field again.
