MS Dhoni Spotted Playing Billiards At JSCA Stadium in Ranchi

The speculation over former India skipper MS Dhoni’s retirement from international cricket is on an all-time high. But the cricketer doesn’t seem bothered by the same as he was recently spotted playing billiards at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) in Ranchi.

The legendary cricketer has taken a break since India’s ouster from the ICC World Cup 2019. He has been spending some quality time away from cricket. Dhoni served in the Indian army for few days in August before moving to America to take a part in amateur golf championship.

Upon returning his country, MS Dhoni was spotted playing billiard at the JSCA Stadium. Dhoni also met the JSCA pitch curator and Kunal Sarangi, a member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The veteran cricket looked extremely satisfied and seemed to enjoy his time.

Meanwhile, speaking about cricket, MS Dhoni has made himself unavailable for the upcoming Bangladesh series after missing the West Indies and South Africa series. There have been speculations over his retirement since the World Cup defeat but the cricketer hasn’t spoken about it as of yet.

Recent reports suggest that MS Dhoni will be with the team till 2020 World T20 to ensure that the team is in safe hands. Rishabh Pant has failed to live up to the expectations in the absence of Dhoni. He has struggled to put runs on the board and has thrown away his wicket playing rash shots.

The 37-year-old Dhoni has been one of India’s greatest servant. He is the only skipper across the globe to win three ICC tournaments – ICC World T20, ICC World Cup 2011, and ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. Besides, he has also brought a lot of accolades to the country to make them one of the dominant forces.
