After winning the toss, Oman batsmen hugely struggled against the Hong Kong bowlers. Once they were battling on 42/6 as the top seven batsmen failed to reach the double-digit scores, excluding the opener Jatinder Singh. Jatinder and the lower-order batsman Naseem Khushi’s remarkable efforts helped Oman to reach to the respectable first-innings total.

Opening batsman Jatinder scored 67 runs not out off 50 balls (7 fours and only six). Meanwhile, Khushi played a firing cameo of the unbeaten 26 runs off just nine balls (2 fours and 2 sixes). Their batting helped Oman to manage 134/7 (20 overs).

Oman restricted Hong Kong to 122/9

In reply, the left-arm pacer Bilal Khan played a huge role for Oman to snatch a victory in that low-scoring game. Before the completion of the fourth over, half Hong Kong batsmen returned to the pavilion and they managed to put only 18 runs on the board.

Bilal Khan bagged four wickets as he had the bowling figures of 4-0-23-4.
