Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI: The second one-day international of Sri Lanka's tour of Pakistan is the first one held in Karachi after 10 years.

SL) 2nd ODI Highlights: Babar Azam’s hundred anchored the innings, and Iftikhar Ahmed added quick runs at the end to take Pakistan to 305/7 in Karachi. Chasing 306 under lights, Sri Lanka got off to a disastrous start, losing half their side within the first 10 overs. But from thereon, Dasun Shanaka and Shehan Jayasuriya breathed new life in the Lankan innings helping them to 194/5 in 38 overs. Floodlights failure has only added more drama to the chase.
After rain played spoilsport in the first ODI, Pakistan will gear up once again to go up against a depleted Sri Lankan team at National Staidum in Karachi on Monday. The second one-day international of Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan will be the first one to be held in Karachi in 10 years. Originally scheduled on Sunday, the match was rescheduled to Monday because of the unseasonal rains in Karachi, as it is set to host a one-day international for the first time in 10 years.

Pakistan win the 2nd ODI
It's all over! Shadab Khan picks up the last wicket. Pakistan win the 2nd ODI by 67 runs. Sri Lanka, chasing 306 made a splendid recovery from 28/5. Sehan Jayasuriya and Dasun Shanaka - with the highest sixth-wicket stand against Pakistan in ODIs gave their side a ray of hope but Usman Shinwari's 5/51 was simply too much to handle for the visitors.

Sri Lanka lose wickets in quick succession

Jayasuriya, Shanaka stitch Sri Lanka's highest sixth-wicket stand
The ongoing partnership between Shehan Jayasuriya and Dasun Shanaka, which currently stands at 166*, is Sri Lanka's highest sixth-wicket stand in ODIs. The previous highest sixth-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka was 159, which was put on by Chamara Kapugedera and Chamara Silva against West Indies in 2008.

Shehan Jayasuriya and Dasun Shanaka are taking things in their control by continuously rotating the strike and smashing boundaries at regular intervals. The pair have added 129 in 149 balls as Sri Lanka edge past the 150-run mark. Azam dabbed the ball towards the point and thought of a run and in that span Sohail was more than halfway down. Azam sends him back and there is confusion. Huge appeal by the visitors but the umpire doesn't seem interested, however, the Sri Lankans think they have got their man. TV replay confirms that the ball was hitting the top of middle stump.
