Pakistani teenager Mohammad Hasnain creates world record with hat-trick against Sri Lanka
Pakistani teenager Mohammad Hasnain created a big record in just his second T20 international. Playing against Sri Lanka in the first T20I, Hasnain became the youngster cricketer in the history of the shortest format to take a hat-trick. Hasnain is just 19 years and 183 days as achieved a big feat in his young career. Hasnain picked up the wickets of Bhanuka Rajapaksa (32), Dasun Shanaka (17) and Shehan Jayasuriya (2) to shatter the world record.
Despite his hat-trick, Hasnain ended up conceding 37 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Sri Lanka went on to score 165 runs with the loss of 5 wickets in the first innings as opener Danushka Gunathilaka scored a half-century in Lahore. This is the first T20 international of the three-match series.

Sent into bat, Sri Lanka raced to 84 with openers Gunathilaka scoring 57 off 38 balls including a six and eight boundaries and Avishka Fernando making 33 off 34.
Debutant Bhanuka Rajapaksa scored 32 off 22 with two sixes and as many boundaries while skipper Dasun Shanaka chipped in with 17 including two sixes.
The second match will be played on Monday and the third on Wednesday -- all in Lahore.
Pakistan have been dominant in the One Day International series against Sri Lanka. They clinched the 3-match series 2-0 after winning the second match by 67 runs at the National Stadium in Karachi. Sri Lanka were lifted to 297-9 in their 50 overs opener Danushka Gunathilaka scoring a career best 133 before Pakistan reached their target in 48.2 overs. Fakhar Zaman led the way with 76 while fellow opener Abid Ali scored 74 and Haris Sohail 56.
