Pankaj Club script easy win
Our Sports Correspondent Ludhiana, November 5 Thanks to fine batting display by Armaan Walia (63 runs) and Soham Bagga (38 runs), Pankaj Club scripted an easy win by 55 runs over National Club in an Under-14 match in the ongoing cricket tournament for Mahajan Trophy being conducted by the Ludhiana District Cricket Association at GRD Academy on Hambran Road, here on Tuesday. Pankaj Club won the toss and decided to bat first. In the stipulated 40 overs, they scored 165 runs after losing seven wickets. Their innings revolved around Armaan Walia and Soham Bagga. Other notable contributors were Shabad Tangri (20) and Hitansh (12). For National Club, Harkaran was the most successful bowler, who took three wickets for 31 runs, while Harman, Hasanjit and Arshdeep captured one wicket each after conceding 10, 22 and 26 runs, respectively. In reply, National Club could muster 110 runs in 35.3 overs , As Reported By Tribune.
According to the Newspaper,Sandeep Mour top-scored with 57 runs and was followed by Aditya Kapoor, who scored 16 runs. For the winning side, Jashandeep got three wickets for 24 runs, Asisjot sent back two batsmen after giving away three runs, Vivek Gaur claimed two wickets for seven runs and Jatin scalped one victim for 15 runs, whereas Divyansh got rid of one batsman for 26 runs. Armaan Walia, who hammered 63 runs and played a major role in Pankaj Clubs win, was named the man of the match.. . .
