After this series, the ICC announced its latest T20 ranking. In the series against India, South Africa captain Quinton Dyak has moved from 49th to 30th position. De Kock scored 52 and 79 not out in two matches.

Rohit Sharma, popularly known as Hitman, has moved up one place to eighth position in the ICC T20 batting rankings. Kohli scored an unbeaten 72-run half-century in the second match of the T20 series, which drew 1-1 against South Africa. It has moved up one place to 11th position.

After a good performance in the series against South Africa, Shikhar Dhawan has moved up three places to number 13.
