Rare childhood photos of Shloka Mehta with Nita Ambani’s children surface on internet as Akash and Isha Ambani celebrate 28th birthday
Isha Ambani and brother Akash Ambani on Wednesday turned 28 with this being their first birthday since the Ambani twins got married in December last year and March this year respectively. While Isha had tied the knot with Anand Parimal in December last year, Akash married Shloka Mehta in March this year. Meanwhile, the Ambani family fans have been sharing their childhood photos of Akash, Isha and Shloka to commemorate the occasion.
In one photo, Isha Ambani is seen wearing a denim pinafore dress, while Shloka Mehta is sporting a black T-shirt and printed trousers. Both Shloka and Isha are seen taking part in a tug of war game with both being on the same side of the team.
In another photo, Isha and Shloka are seen affectionately hugging each other while posing for the camera. It was as if they both knew as children that the two will enter into a formal relationship in years to come.
In another photo, Shloka is seen sporting a black T-shirt, while Isha was seen holding a trophy in her cute pinafore dress. The third girl in the photo is believed to be Shloka’s sister Diya Mehta. Akash is seen posing for the camera at a distance in his white round-neck jumper.
The fan page of the Ambani family also shared a more recent picture of the now sisters-in-law dressed up for an occasion. Isha is in golden beige lehenga choli while Shloka is seen in a sleeveless red lehenga choli.
Another fan page of the Ambanis on Instagram shared a throwback photo of India’s richest family with Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani posing for the camera with their three children, Akash, Anant and Isha.
Soon after her marriage, Isha had appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine. Speaking to the magazine, she had made a startling revelation about herself and brother Akash. She had said, “My parents had us after seven years of marriage, my twin Akash and I were IVF babies. When my mother finally had us, she wanted to be a full-time mum initially. Later, she went back to work when we were five, but she was still a tiger mom.”
Isha had also revealed how she often fought with her mother with Dad Mukesh Ambani acting as a mediator. “I remember, whenever mom and I had fights, we’d call dad to resolve the issue. My mom was way stricter. If we wanted to bunk school, dad would be like “It’s no big deal” but mom would ensure we ate on time, studied hard and got our playtime as well. My grandparents (paternal and maternal) and my maasi played a huge role in bringing us up.”
