Ravi Shastri hilariously trolled by Twitterati after fans spot Indian coach's doppelganger at baseball game
From launching a scathing attack on MS Dhoni's critics to taking Indian pitch out of the equation in South Africa series, there's no denying that Ravi Shastri has managed to hog limelights both on and off the field ever since he became the Indian head coach. The former cricketer-turned Indian head coach has become the major source of quality meme content in the world of social media lately. Shastri, who was recently trolled for making quick naps on-screen during the third Test proceedings between India and South Africa again became the talk of the town when the Indian cricket fans spotted his doppelganger on the internet.
The 57-year-old was mercilessly trolled by the internet warriors who were quick to roll their sleeves when they got acquainted with his lookalike at a baseball game. Thanks to the quick find of Shastri's doppelganger on the internet by the trollers, the possibly stunt-double of the Indian head coach has become an internet sensation in the cricket-loving country. While some compared Shastri's lookalike with drug lord Pablo Escobar, others went to take a note from his own book!

Shastri's interesting take on the Indian pitches which gobsmacked many fans and pundits of the gentlemen's game came back to haunt the Indian coach as his remark was clubbed with the viral photo by the Twitterati. "We want to take the pitch out of the equation. Bhaad me gaya pitch (To hell with pitches)," the serving Indian head coach had said while praising the potent bowling unit of Virat Kohli and Co. after a historic series clean sweep. Cashing on the opportunity, fans used the same remark to make sure Shastri becomes the butt of all jokes all over again.

Interestingly, this is not the first time fans have spotted Shastri’s doppelganger on the internet. The Indian coach's lookalike was previously spotted in a Mumbai local. On the work front, the upcoming bilateral series with Bangladesh will be the next assignment of the current Team India head coach. India-led by skipper Rohit Sharma will play the series opener against Bangladesh on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
