Rohit Sharma reached his century in style during the Day 1 of India vs South Africa 3rd Test in Ranchi. The hitman Sharma smashed a six to reach his hundred in the match. With the six, Sharma became another Indian batsman who reached his century with the six. In the list of Indian cricketers reaching their century with a six in Tests, Sharma shares the record with Gautam Gambhir. Gambhir also sent the ball outside the boundary to reach his Test centuries two times in his career. Sachin Tendulkar has hit a six most times (6) for reaching Test centuries among Indian cricketers. Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first. Mayank Agarwal lost his wicket cheaply for 10 while Cheteshwar Puraja was dismissed on a duck. Kagiso Rabada dismissed both the batsmen. The match is in the 3rd session and Ajinkya Rahane is partnering Sharma well after completing his half-century. India lead the series 2-0 after winning the first Test by 203 runs. In the 2nd Test game in Pune, India won by an inning and 137 runs.
