Rohit Sharma surpassed Don Bradman; Extraordinary average of 99.84 at home
Indian opener Rohit Sharma has also surpassed legendary Australian batsman Don Bradman in terms of best average in Test cricket at home.
Rohit played a double century of 212 runs off 255 balls on Sunday, the second day of the third Test against South Africa in Ranchi. He hit 28 fours and four sixes during this period. Rohit hit his first double century of his Test career off 249 balls.
Rohit, who scored his first double century in Tests, now has a Test average of 99.84 in 10 or more innings at home. At the same time, Bradman's average in Test cricket at home was 98.22.
