Sachin Tendulkar Praises Team India's 'Incredible Consistency'
Sachin Tendulkar bid adieu to international cricket after having played his 200th Test match at the Wankhede Stadium back in 2013 but he still continues to focus on the game and each and every match of Team India. Even in the first of the three-match Test series against South Africa, he was keeping an eye on the top-ranked Test side's performance and especially on Rohit Sharma and had also come forward to congratulate Team India after their comprehensive win. After India handed an innings defeat to the Proteas in the second Test to take an unassailable lead in the series, the Master Blaster has once again come forward to hail the players.
Sachin hails India's 'Incredible Consistency'
India easily overcame South Africa by an innings and 137 runs in the second Test at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Post India's outstanding win, Sachin Tendulkar took to the micro-blogging site and congratulated the Virat Kohli-led side for the incredible consistency showed by them in winning 11 consecutive Test series at home.

By the virtue of this win, India who are already the top-ranked Test side continue to remain at the summit of the ICC World Test Championship points table.
India enforce the follow-on
After the Proteas were bundled out in the final over of Day 3, Indian captain Virat Kohli enforced the follow-on on Day 4 as they had a massive lead of 326 runs. It worked out well as Ishant Sharma picked up the wicket of Aiden Markram on the second ball of Day 4 by trapping him plumb in front of the wicket. Dean Elgar showed some fighting spirit and was also the top-scorer for South Africa in the second innings. However, he failed to spend some quality time out in the middle as he was brilliantly caught by Umesh Yadav off Ravichandran Ashwin for a 72-ball 48. Even skipper Faf du Plessis and wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock disappointed with the bat as they were sent back to the pavilion early. Temba Bavuma (38) and Vernon Philander (37) were the others who could offer some resistance to the Proteas batting line-up as they were bowled out for 189 in the 68th over.
