Sarfaraz Ahmed To Lead Pakistan In T20I Series In Australia

The No.1 team in T20I lost the three-match T20I series against an inexperienced Sri Lankan team. It was much disturbing fact when Sri Lanka clean-swept Pakistan in the T20I series. The Sri Lankan team had no major players in Pakistan Soil. The team had almost inexperienced players but talented people which helped them to register the victory.
There were questions about Sarfaraz captaincy after the disappointing ICC World Cup 2019. Sarfaraz Ahmed was trusted by the newly appointed coach Misbah-ul-Haq and continued the captaincy of the team in the Sri Lanka series.

The three-match T20I series will be played from 3rd November. As per reports, middle-order batsman Azhar Ali will lead the team in the Two match Test series which will start from 21st November.
The squad which will be touring Australia will be announced after the first round of National T20 Cup, which is scheduled to commence from October 13 at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium. Veteran players Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez’s return will also be decided on their performance in the National T20 cup.
