Cricket Australia confirmed that Sean Abbott will join the squad on October 28. On the other hand, Andrew Tye will be with the squad until the first game of the series. Abbott will be in line for his first international cap in five years. Abbott returns to the national squad having claimed eight wickets at 20.12 in his two Shield outings this summer, and five at an economy rate of 3.95 runs per over in his five domestic one-day appearances. With Australia packed up by quality seamers, it will be interesting to see if the New South Wales pacer gets a nod in any of the game.
Meanwhile, skipper Aaron Finch and middle-order batsman Ashton Turner have regained fitness to be available for the first game of the series. Australia will hope for a great start to their long international summer.
