Smith-Warner returns, Australian squad announced for upcoming T20 series
Steve Smith, the highest run-scorer in the Ashes series, has returned to Australia's T20 squad after three years. The Australian team has announced a 14-member squad for the T20 series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan on Tuesday.j
Smith along with his teammate David Warner will also return to the T20 format after a long time.
Warner played in the last T20 match on 21 February 2018 on a tour of New Zealand.
The team led by Aaron Finch will feature Warner as the opener and Smith as the number three batsman. Apart from Smith and Warner, fast bowlers Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc from the Ashes squad have also found a place in the T20 squad.
