Newly appointed BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has not been known to be very open about his personal life over the years. However, things seem to have changed for him off late as the former India captain took to Twitter on Monday for celebrating Sana's 18th birthday.

Sourav Ganguly got married to his childhood sweetheart Dona Roy in February 1997. Indian media reports back then claimed that their respective families were not too pleased with the proposal as they were not on the best of terms with each other. However, later both the families managed to reconcile and they agreed to the wedding. Sourav and Dona welcomed their daughter Sana in November 2001.

Recently, Ganguly was elected as the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). He became the second Indian captain to hold the top job in the BCCI.

During his playing days, Ganguly, who is nicknamed as 'Dada', was arguably the best and the finest captains in the history of Indian cricket, having scored 11,363 runs in 311 One-Day internationals at an average of 41.02 and leading India to the final of the 2003 World Cup.
