Sourav Ganguly speak on bilateral series between Indian and Pakistan
Bilateral cricket has not been played between India and Pakistan for the past several years. The reason for this is the political relationship between India and Pakistan. Saurabh Ganguly has been asked about watching bilateral cricket between Pakistan.
Future BCCI President Saurabh Ganguly told that restoring bilateral cricket ties with Pakistan is a matter related to the approval of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistani counterpart Imran Khan. When Ganguly was asked about resuming the India-Pakistan bilateral series here, he said, "You should ask this question to Modi ji and the Prime Minister of Pakistan."
The former captain said that of course we have to get permission, because all international tours are through the government. So we do not have an answer to this question.
The last bilateral series between India and Pakistan was played in 2012, while India hosted Pakistan for two T20s and three ODIs.
