South Africa managed to score 275 despite being 53/5 due to these 4 mistakes by India
South Africa were down and out at 53/5 at one stage on day 3 in Pune. They still managed to score 275 in their 1st innings due to these 4 mistakes by India:
Defensive captaincy by Virat allowed lower order batsman to score runs. He gave way too many overs to both spinners Jadeja and Ashwin as compared to his 3 premier fast bowlers.
Many half chances were not converted into wickets by the close-in fielders. Jadeja suffered the most off his bowling due to this.
Ishant was guilty of running twice on the pitch and got warned by the Umpire for it. He was removed from bowling by Virat as another warning would had banned him from participating further in the match.
Ashwin dropped Keshav in the 91st over. He was batting on 44 at that time and went on to score 72. So guys what are your views on the above 4 mistakes by Team India? Stay connected and do share your thoughts in the comment section.
